high school...GWHS 1997

I saw this on Sabete's myspace blog, so I thought I'd copy and fill it out :-P

Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high
school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be!!
REPOST with name of high school and graduating year.

Did you marry someone from your high school? Nope. Completely single. Still.

Did you car pool to school? I shared the Mitsubishi Love Bus with Val, and then when I started taking post-secondary classes at GCC for the nursing assistant program I primarily used my mom's 1985 Toyota Corolla. That car is now long gone. Also the Love Bus...gone.

What kind of car did you have? Woops...already explained this above.

What kind of car do you have now? 2002 Toyota Corolla. Love 'em 'Rollas.

It's Friday night...where were you then? Probably at home, procrastinating.

It's Friday night....where are you now? Probably at work, since my shift is the swing shift.

Who were your best friends? The McD's crew...CLIFFHANGERS ^_^

Who are your best friends now? My sis, Valerina :-D

What kind of job did you have in high school? Had a part-time job with Val at Asia Pacific Investors Services after school from 1500 - 1800, as office assistants. On the days when I had evening classes at GCC, I wouldn't go.

What do you do now? Full-time Registered Nurse at Guam Memorial Hospital Authority, Telemetry-Progressive Care Unit, 3rd floor, B-Wing.

Were you a party animal? Not at all.

Were you considered a flirt? Not at all. I think I scared people :-P

Were you in band, orchestra or choir? I tried the concert band at GW for freshman and sophomore year only.

Did you get suspended/expelled? Nope.

Can you sing the fight song? We had a fight song? I have NO SPIRIT.

Who was/were your favorite teacher(s)? Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Bejarana, Mrs. Pexa.

Where did you sit during lunch? McD's classroom, and I think for a year or two I also hung out at the gym to play table tennis during lunch.

What was your school's full name? George Washington Senior High School

When did you graduate? 1997

What was your school mascot? Gecko Warrior. I remember my mom telling that in her time, there were two mascots - the Geckos, and the Warriors (and they competed against eachother). Somehow both merged into our present "Gecko Warrior".

If you could go back and do it again, would you? I would not want to redo everything again, maybe just certain times.

What do you remember most about graduation? Coming in 8th in the class, and not getting the merit scholarship. I hated my sis Val for coming in 7th and taking the scholarship. But now it's all cool...I love her still ^_^

Who did you take to prom Senior year? I did not attend.

Did you have fun at Prom? Not applicable.

Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I chose not to go. I don't plan on going to any high school related function in the future either.

Who do you still talk to at least once a week from your class? God...that has to be my sis, Val. :-P

I took the color quiz, like Sabete :-D

My results are very disturbing...surely I have been stressed and anxious lately. This is all too accurate. This is mostly probably due to shit happening at work...

Your Existing Situation

Avoids excessive effort and needs roots, security, and peaceful companionship.

Your Stress Sources

Has lost the resilience and strength of will necessary to contend with existing difficulties. Feels overtaxed and getting nowhere, but continues to stand her ground and still pursues her objectives with a fierce intensity. This subjects her to intolerable pressure from which she wants to escape, but she cannot bring herself to make the necessary decision. As a result she remains firmly involved in the problem and can neither view it objectively nor get rid of it--he cannot leave it alone and feels she will only be at peace when she has reached her objective.

Your Restrained Characteristics

Insists that her hopes and ideas are realistic, but needs reassurance and encouragement. Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense.

Feels that she is receiving less than her share and that there is no one on whom she can rely for sympathy and understanding. Pent-up emotions and a certain egocentricity make her quick to take offense, but she realizes that she has to make the best of things as they are.

Your Desired Objective

Suffering from pent-up overstimulation which threatends to discharge itself in an outburst of impulsive and impassioned behavior.

Your Actual Problem

The fear that she might be prevented from achieving the things she wants drives her to the exploitation of all types of experience, so that she may categorically deny that any of them has any value. This destructive denigration becomes her method of concealing hopelessness and a profound sense of futility.

Your Actual Problem #2

The tensions induced by trying to cope with conditions which are really beyond her capabilities, or reserves of strength, have led to considerable anxiety and a sense of personal (but unadmitted) inadequacy. Her inability to enforce her will causes her to over-react in stubborn defiance and by assigning to others all the blame for her own failures.
