I'm now LPN II...for now...

It took me a long-ass time getting all my final documents ready for submission to GMH (you know, the mandatory police and court clearances), but I finally got 'em done this past week.

So, my official position at GMH is now LPN II. And at the end of July, I will be able to apply for the SN I position (staff nurse I). I so look forward to that time. I shall be making big bucks...to pay off my big debts :-P

I think the promotion to LPN II will also give me a slightly higher pay wage, but I'm unsure of the exact amount per hour I will be making. *shrugs*

In other news...

I'm on sick leave from work for a couple of days - I've got a nasty upper respiratory infection - I'm taking a 5 day course of zithromax. So far the antibiotic has at least decreased the purulence of my nose and throat drainage, but I still have a bad sore throat, stuffy head and forever leaking nose >_<

Mou sukoshi dake... (a little bit more...) June 30th - my 1 year anniversary with Arnold. I'm sending him a cake and some balloons thru some online store that sends gifts nationwide in the PI - hopefully it gets to him tonight, but if not, there's always tomorrow ^_^

The cake and balloons made it to him - same day service - It was a nice surprise for both me and Arnold,'cause I honestly thought they would deliver it the next day. Even better - they delivered it to his work - which is what I originally intended, but couldn't do 'cause I don't know the physical address of his work. They called Arnold to verify the home address, but instead, Arnold told them to deliver it to his work, 'cause he couldn't wait until he got home to see it - and they complied ^_^

Arnold was completely surprised and so happy - I guess he didn't know that I was capable of doing such a thing from far away ^_^

I SO rock as a girlfriend/fiance ^_^

Jess - I'm still ring hunting! I can't decide if I want to go with plain platinum bands, or go with the platinum etoile band ring from tiffany again - it should match my etoile solitaire, and it's got 10 cute little diamonds scattered around the band.
The price for both bands will run me $4,000! And I'm already spending $2,500 on my engagement ring alone - so total cost for the blinging rings - $6,500! That's about the budget I want for the wedding itself - no more than that! That's already a lot of money, yo!

I'm estimating this whole wedding deal will cost me no more than $15,000 - within this price should be the costs of obtaining the fiance visa (fees and shit like that), and his trip to Guam (one-way ticket - hehehehe!)

Sabete - Please do! But only when my infection is completely gone - the last thing I want is for you to get sick...I would love to show you the sparkle :-D
