Little Update...

Well, I've completed the storyline missions for Grand Theft Auto 4 - apparently there's two possible endings. So I played the first time around deciding to get revenge on the character's enemy - and the consequence of that led to ending number 1. Then I replayed the whole story again, this time choosing the other option - which was to make a deal and cooperate with the character's enemy - and that also had consequences that led to ending number 2. For both possible endings, the final missions were terribly difficult (even with cheats on). But, in the end, whatever choice you make, lots of people close to you, plus your enemies, end up DEAD. Ending number 2 for me felt more tragic.

Now all that's left to do (in order to get 100% completion of the game) are the little side missions - the ones where you go around stealing certain cars and delivering them for sale, ones where you become errand/delivery boy for controlled substances a.k.a. drug dealer, ones where you enter and win car races around the city, and the ones where you go around hunting for some 100+ pigeons around the entire city and shoot them dead. Fun, fun, fun.

But I'm still blown away at how magnificent this game is. I guess I really love these "sandbox" type games.

What I really wanna play next - ROCK BAND. I've got to find out if it's available for the PS3 though, 'cause as far I know, only the XBox360 has it *shrugs*.

--------------tsugi.....(next).....

Work has been so fucking busy lately. I mean, full-house of patients every day, with overflows waiting in the ER for a damn bed...sometimes for more than 1 day. It's ridiculous...but that's the reality of Guam's only public hospital. BLEH.

I wanna share some vids - some songs that I'm loving right now, from japanese artists:

~~~ first vid - GACKT - "Returner Yami no Shuuen
"
GACKT is GOD. Love him so much...even though he looks so feminine at times :P
~~~next vid - YOSHII LOVINSON - "Call Me"

I dunno why, but I just love to sing this song...must be the melody...must be the lyrics...

Some parts of the lyrics don't make sense to me, but overall I think one can get the gist of its meaning:

Today afternoon
Today afternoon

The sky isn't what's overcast
You're mistaken, it's different than that
I don't think that things are okay like this
One day, the day won't unfold
The truth of a folding chair is futile
I need to avoid it myself
Call me, call me
Do it on the phone anytime
You won't regret it

It's cut, it's cut
I can't reach my hands out in the city
So what should I hold onto?
I don't know
Just what is a "person"?
There are a number of answers in the world
You need to avoid it
Call me, call me
I'm really excited everyday

No matter how many years pass, it's the same; people will aim above themselves
No matter how many years in the future, it's the same
"I love you" "I love you" turns into ashes

I want to break through the asphalt casually
Like a weed..
You need to avoid it

Call me, call me
Sometimes the stars are pretty
So when they are, call me, call me
I need to avoid it myself
Call me, call me
In love, in guilt, in greed, in your heart, in flowers, in water, in the
wind, in the clouds, in the sky, in the stars
Always, always, always call me
Do it on the phone anytime
You won't regret it

~~~
final vid - the 3rd opening theme song for Naruto Shippuuden - Ikimono Gakari - Blue Bird
this is just the opening sequence itself, as it is in the anime episode - I have not been able to find the full length song, nor a video to match...zannen desu ne (too bad)...but, I just can't get over the vocal of the lady singing! If I can reach those high notes without sounding like I'm croaking, I'd be extremely happy!
Here's the english lyrics for this short version song:
You say if you could fly, you'd never come back down
You only have eyes for that blue, blue sky
You've yet to learn what sadness is
And are just now grasping what pain is like
Even the feelings I have for you
must be expressed with words
As you awake from a dream into an unknown world,
Spread your wings, and take flight!
You say if you could fly, you'd never come back down
You only have eyes for that blue, blue sky
You know if you can just make it through, you'll find what you seek
So keep trying to break free,
to that blue, blue sky
Okay...this turned into a very long update...gomen ne ;-D
Nessa and this boogie man named Corbin will be coming to Guam in early August. Stay tuned!
